After the Gold... PDF Print E-mail

The 2010 BSDCC National Specialty is now into the history books. Del and her crew did a fantastic job to provide a full slate of events, both inside and outside the ring. There was lots of fun for both owners and dogs.

After carefully sorting through a very nice entry, judge Pauline Stern-Hauf selected  Ch. Blackcomb's Philosophers Stone HT/ADC/ADCJ (T) as her BISS.  BOS went to Ch. Mali Deabei CGN (T). BW was Malinois Am. Ch. Avonlea American Idol CGN/HS/RN. WB was Boo du Chemin Des Sorcieres.  BP was Silverado's Touch of Grey. The Best Veteran was Blackwater's Superstar. Awards of Merit were awarded to both the WD and WB.

In Obedience, Karen Brearley awarded HIT to MOTCH. Chipie Les Loups Lourrains, handled by Lindsay Ibbotson. "Paris" turned in a very nice 195.5 from the Utility class and that finished her GMOTCH. It's nice to notch a milestone like that at a National Specialty.

Events started Thursday at Lynn Leach's Downriver Farms, where HIT from the Herding Intermediate class went to De La Corps Parle Francais and owner Nancy Pugh. Gwen Engler had Reserve HIT with Bonne Etoile de la Clairiere aux Louves.

HIT from both of the CKC Agility Trials went to Spiritus Dakota, a Terv handled by Shawna Palmer.

Our top Jr. Handler, as judged by Chelsea Birmingham, was Chelsea Falk.
